The word dupioni means "duplicate." This ribbon is crafted from a process involving double nested cocoons that are harvested and spun into a pepbbled texture that is associated with Dupioni Silk. It takes dye easily and the result is usually brilliant, bright shades of color.

The bias cut Dupioni Silk ribbon comes in 24 beautiful colors. Ribbon comes 40 yards (36 Meters) to a roll and is available in 3/4" or 2" widths.

The Midori brand is widely used by designers, florists, and event planners and they are known for their beautiful color and quality. The silk ribbons are textured but light and work perfectly for making beautiful silk bows or adorning packages.
