Our exclusive silk material is 95% silk and 5% lycra. The 5% lycra provides a better fitting glove with smoother seams--without lycra the fingers would not fit and the seams would pucker. A specialty mill in France manufacturers this fabulous, high-end fabric based on our glove requirements and exclusive specifications.

It is important to be aware that there is no such thing as pure white silk, therefore a white silk gown appears off white in color. A pure white cotton or satin glove will not match this color. As a result, the white silk is a perfect match for all white silk dresses and gowns!
